Field Assembly Fiber Optic Fast Connector

The Quick-SC FAST connector is designed for simple and fast field termination of single fibers, without polishing or adhesives. The heart of the Quick-SC fast connector is a pre-polished ferrule and a mechanical splice inside the connector body. Assembly of the Quick-SC requires only normal fiber preparation tools: a fiber stripping tool, wipes and a fiber cleaver. No electrical power supply is needed to assemble the Quick-SC quickly fiber connector

Assembly Process

1.Conntctor Kits

2. Insert optical cable into screw cap

3. Strip cable jacket and leave coated  Fiber as 50-60mm long.          

4. Put cable into fixed length device.

5. Strip the coating.

 6. Clean bare fiber 

7.Cut the fiber by cleaver

8. Press the cable into the groove and 

keep the fiber slightly bending.

9. Close the back cover

10. Close the gland for fixing drop cable

11.Close screw cap.

12.Put SC housing and finish assembling.
